Fun Zru Vogue rehearsal today
We had to learn how to play our new songs. We’re in such a state of creative frenzy when we’re writing and recording that we just get into a zone and do first takes and move on. So later, we need to figure out what we played and how to reproduce it live - like we did today. Really satisfying to discover that these are really good songs that stand up to reinterpretation. New Zru 2009
Zru Vogue is recording a new album of atmospheric soul music. Rick and Andy are crafting segments individually using GarageBand and Logic Pro software and then weaving them together as a whole. The project is starting to take shape, with half the tracks nearly completed in the first 2 weeks.
