Fun Zru Vogue rehearsal today
We had to learn how to play our new songs. We’re in such a state of creative frenzy when we’re writing and recording that we just get into a zone and do first takes and move on. So later, we need to figure out what we played and how to reproduce it live - like we did today. Really satisfying to discover that these are really good songs that stand up to reinterpretation.

Zru Vogue - Nakweda Dream: I’ve been listening to this track all morning, it’s a really special track - sort of chilling/creepy feeling that just creeps up behind you - love this sound.

CLUB ZRU - I’m working on cover design ideas for the forthcoming 2010 Zru Vogue double album. This image is currently a favorite. I originally made the illustration for a Zru Vogue poster back in 1981. The album is in part an homage to those early days of Zruism, so it seems apt, and appropriately iconic.

Zru Vogue has embarked officially on their next album… recording experimental, improvised tracks that will lead to Club Zru/Galerie Zru (in due Zru time).
